North Sea Port, Circular Port – webinar

Year 2021 (April)
Author(s) North Sea Port

On Tuesday, April 20, North Sea Port spoke with port business people, Flemish and Dutch governments, and experts on the subject of circularity. This webinar was in collaboration with VNO-NCW Brabant Zeeland and Circular Flanders.

North Sea Port regards flows, CO2 and residual materials as valuable raw materials that play a key role in the circular economy. Circularity will be one of the crucial pillars in the new strategic plan. North Sea Port has resolutely opted for a circular port. Room for initiatives from existing and new businesses and industry that contribute to a circular port have priority for North Sea Port in Vlissingen, Terneuzen and Ghent. This transition is necessary to meet the climate objectives, a task for which North Sea Port and the industry work together.
