City of Amsterdam – Port Vision 2020-2040

The Municipal Port Vision identifies and describes five public interests that guide the City of Amsterdam in its choices and cooperation with the Port of Amsterdam. They are intended to create clarity, both internally within the city and externally, about the municipal ambitions and tasks and thus provide guidance for the Port Authority. Drawing up this Vision ensures a better exchange of knowledge between city and port, as well as mutual understanding. In that respect, city and port have also grown together in a metaphorical sense.
