Baseline of Circular Economy Indicators for Ports

This report presents the first baseline measurement of circular economy indicators for the Port
of Antwerp-Bruges, North Sea Port and the Port of Ostend. It was produced by the Vrije
Universiteit Brussel within the Chair Circular Port Monitoring in Flanders, in collaboration with
Circular Flanders and the three participating PMBs. Building on twelve indicators developed
specifically for the port context, the report translates these indicators into practical
measurement methods, establishes baseline values where possible, documents the required
data sources and provides as such a foundation for circular port monitoring.
