‘Circular Port’ at North Sea Port

North Sea Port sees residual streams, CO2 and waste as valuable raw materials that play a key role in the circular economy. In the new strategic plan, therefore, circularity is one of the crucial topics. The port authority resolutely opts for a circular port. Space for initiatives by existing and new companies and industry that contribute to a circular port are a priority for North Sea Port in the ports of Vlissingen, Terneuzen and Ghent.

The transition needed to meet the climate goals is a task in which North Sea Port is working together with industry.

Together with VNO-NCW Brabant Zeeland and Flanders Circular, North Sea PortĀ isĀ diving into the subject of circularity with government, port businesses and experts.
