The fact that businesses are the indispensable link in the climate challenge is an important starting point. North Sea Port (Ghent area) is responsible for a large part of Flanders’ emissions, but is taking a number of measures to drastically reduce them. The North Sea Port has a number of trump cards to play. Its unique ecosystem of (manufacturing) companies can draw on strong knowledge institutions in the neighbourhood, services that respond to circularity, and technology that provides for the storage, reuse or capture of CO2.

But to take full advantage of these opportunities, knowledge sharing and collaboration are crucial. Over six sessions, there is the opportunity to come together as port companies and learn from each other. The programme combines relevant cases and testimonials with unique company visits. So you can get your business ready for the future.
