Building innovative maritime ecosystems: smart, green & valuable for the society

The hustle of everyday tasks often leaves us little room to contemplate the significant shifts and challenges around us, such as economic instability, environmental concerns, geopolitical conflicts, and tech advancements. At the IAME Conference in 2024, IAME aims to dedicate time for collective contemplation on pivotal matters within our domain, centering our discussions around “Building innovative maritime ecosystems: Smart, Green & Valuable for society.”

The conference will delve into various subjects, yet our primary focus will be on the comprehensive transformation of our Community’s ecosystem (including ports, maritime transport, and logistics) across three vital aspects. These include embracing a tech revolution that extends beyond digitalization to include rapid advancements in Generative Artificial Intelligence; the essential progression towards an environmentally friendly Community amidst external challenges; and recognizing the importance of our Community’s interconnectedness with society at large, which fortifies its true worth.

IAME plans to explore these challenges in Valencia from June 25 to 28, 2024, fostering a dynamic and insightful debate (refer to the Provisional Program on the conference website) where concerns will be shared, actionable strategies discussed, and their adoption by relevant stakeholders encourage.
