Port Oostende acted as a matchmaker for a social housing project initiated by VTI Oostende, a local secondary school. Their students will be creating residential units from used shipping containers. These units will be used as temporary housing for youngsters who are homeless or experiencing a difficult home-situation.
The project, called Tussn[h]us, was initiated by two dedicated teachers and involves various departments within VTI Oostende. Port Oostende is playing a crucial role in the logistics of the project, handling the transportation and delivery of the containers. This initiative highlights the power of collaboration.
