We find from Hamburg via Rotterdam and Antwerp to Le Havre prosperous ports, which will have to provide an answer to the complex circular issue of economy, ecology and use of space. In fact, they are a crucial lever to accelerate that transition. Many circular initiatives and strategies are already blooming in port areas, but ports still face a major challenge in designing, shaping and initiating spatial projects for a circular future
