Agenda 2030 – Ten goals for sustainable port cities

Year 2018
Author(s) The Worldwide Network of Port Cities (AIVP)

The 2030 Agenda is the world’s first initiative to adapt the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals for the specific context of City Port relations. The document, produced jointly with AIVP members at the Quebec Conference in 2018, sets down 10 goals to be achieved by 2030. It was submitted to the UN in 2019 as the contribution of port cities to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, within the framework of the partnership initiated with this international institution.

The 2030 Agenda assists port city stakeholders to direct their actions and projects towards sustainable city-port relationships.
